15th September In Division 1 Roger Davey 67 and John Watson 69 were ahead of the field whilst in Division 2 an exceptional 62 from Max Webb was well ahead of second place Mike Pearce. 69.

28th July The extraordinary run on the course persists in the drought conditions. Colin Lockwood with nett 69 followed by Keith Richardson 71 head division 1 and Dave Deeping also 69 followed by Steve Batchelor nett 72 head up Div 2.

14th April Better conditions than of late, in Div 1 Ron Needham won with net 70 followed by Clint Allen 72 and Paul Rawlings 73. In Div 2 welcome to Greg Kinsler playing his first comp with the seniors and winning with an impressive net 67, followed by Maurice Sharman 70 and Albert Garner 72

9th September Three prizes in each division, Div 1 An excellent round from long hitting Clint Allen with a nett 67 followed by Paul Rawlings 69, Colin Lockwood third with a nett 70.

Div 2 Keith Wake dominated division 2 also with 67 followed by Jonathon Harper 72 and Maurice Sharman 73. Results Div 1 and Div 2 2's Mick Burch 2nd and Garry Adam 17th.

27th July A two division competition., winning Div. 1 with nett 69 Roger Kennedy followed by Gerry Cannings 71 and Les burton 72.

Division 2 winner was Graham Wilson with a creditable nett 68 followed by John Linskey 71 and Paul Rawlings 72. Results Div 1 and Div 2.

29th April

1st place in Div. 1 was Roger Davey with a very impressive nett score of 71. Coming 2nd was John Unwin with 73 on c/back from Mike Walton, also on 73.

Div.2 winner was Dave Deeping with 73. Malcolm Robinson just pipped Alan Brown on c/back, both with 74.

September 3rd A two division comp and Mick Bush and Gordon Kind came top of the two divisions.

September 12th An excellent round from Les Burton winning division 1 with a nett 67, second Mike Walton on 70. In division 2 another winning round for Art Cooper on nett 71 and Mike Pearce second with a nett 73. Colin Lockwood was nearest the pin, the best front 9 Gordon Kind and back 9 Keith Manning. Two 2's in the pot Keith Wake and John Watson.

July 11th A good round of nett 71 for Richard Drew was sufficient to win division 1 with four players on 74.

In division 2 the man of the moment, Ray Plater wins again. the only player to better par with 69. Albert Garner was second with a nett 71. Results for Div 1 and Div 2

Rays competitive run certainly interested the handicap secretary having reduced 3 shots in as many weeks.

April 11th First medal of the year, several players taking advantage of the good conditions. In Div1 clear winner with nett 68 Paul Rawlings followed by Jim Dudle and Richard Chapman with scores of 71 and 72 respectively. In Div 2 also with a score of 68 Keith Manning followed in 2nd by Alan Shoemake 70 and Dave Plant 72.

September 13th

Richard Cooper was on good form carding gross 85 nett 68 to win Div 1. Gerry Cannings was a shot behind 69 and Jim Dudley collected the third prize on 71.

In Div 2 a good day for Ray Plater with a nett 71. Bas Bishop was second on 75 ahead of Alan Shoemake on count back.

July 5th Medal

In Div 1 a very good win for Gross Champion Jim Dudley with a nett 65, 6 shots under par. Richard Drew was second on 68, ahead of Paul Rawlings on count back.

In Div 2 Barry Jones carded 68, 2 shots ahead of Art Cooper on 70. Also on 70 Colin Lockwood losing out on count back. Results Div 1 & 2

May 24th Medal

A clear winner, Paul Cooper with an exceptional score of nett 65. Playing off 16 and a gross 81, Paul was 4 shots clear of Captain Gerry Cannings (69). Handicap cuts of 2 and 1 respectively. Mick Bush was third on 73 and good to see Alan Shoemake playing off one of the new increased handicaps fourth with nett 74. Peter Mills was nearest the pin and Gerry Cannings won the 2's pot. Sept 14th Medal A close competition in both divisions. In Division 1 Mike Walton won on count back from Jim Dudley, both on 73 and Les Burton one shot behind. In Division 2, again decided on count back with 74 points Dave Plant was ahead of Paul Cooper and Max Webb secured third on 78, also on count back. Division 1 Division 2 Combined

Aug 10th Medal Div 1. A nett 72 was the winning score for Terry Hawkins, followed by Jim Dudley 73 and Paul Rawlings on the same score.

Div2 was won by Paul Cooper nett 74. Also in the prizes Dave Plant 75 and Jim Rorison 76.

The NTP winner was Max Webb and three 2's winners: Dave Crouch 2nd, Robert Ford 2nd

July 6th Medal:A good day for Les Burton with an excellent nett 67, followed by Chas Ferguson 68 and Trevor Walker 70, all keeping the handicap secretary interested. Results

April 13th Medal: The white tee affect, only Paul Cooper bettered par and found the interest of the handicap secretary. Winning Div2 by 3 shots from Trevor Walker 71, and Chas Ferguson 73. In Division 1 Les Burton was the winner with 73 ahead on count back from Ron Needham and Jon Crouch 3rd with 74. Div 1 and 2 results

016September 15th: OoM medal. John McCann winner by 3 shots of Division 1 with nett 68 from Jon Crouch 71 and John Watson 72 on count back. In Division 2 a very good round of 66 earned Graham Swan victory and a new handicap. In second on 68 Ray Wood and Mike Pearce in third with nett 71. Keith Richardson was nearest the pin. August 11th OoM Medal: A day of good scoring, in Division 1 Dave Crouch carded 69 ahead of Dave Deeping by a single shot and John McCann one further shot in arrears. In Division 2 a good day for Reg Boot and Gordon Kind both with nett 70 and Chas Ferguson on 73

Combined Divs

July 7th OoM Medal. Close at the top of Div 1 with three players carding the same score of nett 70. After count back the winner was Jon Crouch, followed by John Unwin and third earning valuable OoM points Paul Rawlings.

In Division 2 another good day for Graham Hustler (71) followed by Bill dodman (72) Barry Jones 3 points back on 75.

April 14th Medal (OM): Well done Graham! Overall winner and winner of Div2 by the margin of 7 shots Graham Hustler with a very creditable nett 69. Second in Div 2 Paul Cooper 76 and Mike Pearce 3rd on count back with 73.

Sept 17th OoM Medal: Winner of Division 1 with nett 69 and overall winner of the Order of Merit Richard Chapman. John Rickett losing on count back and Colin Shearman in 3 place 1 shot back. Div 1 results

Division 2 was won by Art Cooper also on count back from Graham Wilcox both on 74, a single shot ahead of Ed Skinner . Div 2 results

August 13th OoM Medal: Another excellent round from Paul Rawlings nett 68, Paul was the clear winner ahead of Dave Crouch and Dave Deeping on 71. The consistent duo of Bob Mason and Richard Chapman were 4th and 5th respectively with 72 points. Results sheet

The recent good scoring continues, Dave Whiting's lowest gross 82, nett 65 was best on the day but only by a single shot from Paul Rawlings nett 66. Bruce Taylor 70, also broke par bringing a smile to the face of the handicap secretary. Results sheet

April 16th O o M Medal:

Excellent conditions, warm sunshine and relatively calm conditions reflected in the scoring. With a more than creditable 5 under par 67 an excellent win for Graham Swan. A good day also for Steve Walker (68), a score good eneough to win on most occasions. John McCann and Dave Crouch (71) took the minor placings. Results sheet
